Wellness Walkers- Autumn/Winter - Wellness Walkers: October 22 Oakes Quarry Park
Each week, we will get our heart rate up and get moving while enjoying the outdoors in our beautiful parks. Walks are guided and self-paced. Fairborn Parks and Recreation, Greene County Parks & Trails, the City of Beavercreek Parks Department, and the Beaver Creek Wetlands Association have teamed up to provide walks all over Greene County.Walks are on Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.All walks are rated for difficulty with a 1 being the easiest and a 3 being the most difficult. Jumping Jacks and Jills - Jumping Jacks and Jills-October
Hop, jump, crawl, balance, and play! Jumping Jacks and Jills is a fun-filled free-play program designed to help young children develop hand-eye coordination, balance, motor-skills, and body awareness through active exploration. Participants will have the opportunity to move at their own pace while enjoying a variety of equipment including soccer nets, hula hoops, tunnels, balance beams, obstacle courses, and more. This unstructured play environment encourages creativity, confidence, and physical activity in a safe and engaging setting. Parent or caregiver participation is highly encouraged, making it a wonderful opportunity to play, learn, and stay active together!
