Fairborn Community Garden

The Fairborn Community Garden offers approximately 26 plots to assigned by Garden Membership. All garden Rules and Agreements must be followed to ensure everyone has a healthy and productive growing season.

Returning gardeners may apply for membership starting March 11. All new gardeners may apply for membership starting April 1. 

Plots are FREE for residents and WPAFB personnel. All plots are pre-tilled with access to the tool shed and water supply. Some plots are further from the water source- water cans are provided for use if need be.

Plots are approximately 21'x25'. Some smaller plots may be available. All NEW members will be assigned a smaller plot (12'x 21'). Garden members may plant both produce and flowers. You may keep what you harvest. No plot may be all flowers except the pollinator beds at the front and back of the garden.

No trash, waste, stakes or other foreign matter may be left. There is a dumpster for use by the shed and fire station to dispose of garden waste ONLY. 

Repeat plot violations or abandonment will result in revocation of membership for one year.

The Fairborn Community Garden is located behind Fire Station 4 off Funderburg Rd and across from the FISH Food Pantry and Wright Park. 
 
Once registered, the Parks & Recreation Division along with the Volunteer Garden Coordinator will assign you a PLOT number. You will be contacted once the garden is ready to open for the season (~mid-April/weather dependent). All plots must be cleaned and leveled to the appropriate height by the end of October.
You may not plant until you have 1)received a plot number assignment 2)received the notice that the garden has opened for the year.
Plots are assigned and not first come first served.
