Spotted Turtle Trail Ribbon Cutting

STT Ribbon Cutting @ Amon
Join the Beaver Creek Wetlands Association, the City of Fairborn, B-W Greenway, and the Fairborn Parks Foundation as we celebrate the completion of phase 3 of the Spotted Turtle Trail project thanks to 2 Clean Ohio Grants!  It’s a great way to celebrate Earth Day!

The event begins at 1:00 PM with a ceremony and ribbon cutting followed by a walk to see the new features in James P. Amon Biodiversity Reserve and Beerman Fen.
Discover Exciting Updates in Amon Reserve and Beerman Fen!
  • Beerman Fen and Amon Reserve now feature brand-new, volunteer-built boardwalks, opening up previously inaccessible areas for your enjoyment.
  • This summer, admire the vibrant flora in our new rain garden, conveniently located near the freshly paved parking lot off New Germany Trebein Road.
  • The deck off the new parking lot overlooks the new housing habitat for purple martins. Bird lovers may observe diverse bird species from our new marsh-viewing bird blind.
  • Enjoy dry, comfortable walks on newly installed gravel trails and bridges. A new prairie trail offers an immersive nature experience.
