The bikeway runs from northeast Fairborn (Yellow Springs-Fairfield Rd) to southwest Fairborn (Kauffman Ave) near the Wright Brothers Memorial and Huffman MetroPark. The trail runs adjacent to an active rail line. It connects to the Mad River Trail which extends into Downtown Dayton. This bikeway is part of the 330+ mile long Miami Valley Trail System, one of the nation's largest networks of paved trails.
